42.

Califone
Heron King Blues
(Perishable, 2004)

On Heron King Blues, Tim Rutili and co.'s bluesy folk relics have been slowly contorted from their comfortable Americana roots into something murky and slightly disturbing, but still warm with the heat of its decaying carcass. It’s Califone decomposing, beautifully.
